I live near the Hutchinson River Parkway in New York, which becomes the Merritt Parkway at the CT line. It too has those stop-signed entry points where you’re expected to merge into 60+MPH traffic with no on-ramp. There’s nothing like pulling up to one of those, picking your gap, punching it and having the car say,

Son wouldn’t learn stick? Sounds like you just need a new son.

Sorry, who’s the douche bro in this example?

Did you mean to use a picture of an ACTUAL Lambo???

That won’t pass tech in a lot of racing leagues, as they require folding or textile hooks. Those rigid spears are for “racing.”

So are dive-planes and front-splitters dumb on a RWD? Where downforce is helpful isn’t dictated by the drive-wheels. If you have a FWD car that has mid-corner oversteer issues, downforce at the back is helpful.

It makes sense to me that a lot of phrases relate to horses in some way.

The stance seems to be that it mostly happens to the cars that don’t get driven. I tend to look at the ones with a little more mileage, so you know they get regular use. Same goes with Caymans and 911's. Oh how I want that flat 6 howl in my life so bad.

I agree with you. Their price and looks are so under-valued. This picture really shows how well a cared for 986 has aged.

There’s some drop on that 986 and it actually looks very good. I’m sure I’m in the minority but I think the 986 is the prettiest Boxster ever and and I can’t say the S 987 I drove was more fun than the base 986. Faster does not always equal more fun.

Winter need to end :(

The checkered flag pedestrian crosswalks by the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Uptown Charlotte can make for some pretty cool street-shooting opportunities. Yes, you won. Everyone’s a winner.
