One of my favorite little-kids- being literal stories: a relative said to my baby sister “Wow, you’ve grown a foot since I saw you last!”

But there usually isn’t court if you’re not married, that’s her point.

This is true in all my anecdotal experience except for couples with kids before marriage. Then the court intervenes on behalf of the kid(s) who are usually with the woman. Other than that, it seems to be that the dude makes more money (what pay gap?!?) therefore the house gets put in his name, and of course they don’t

Yep. My baby sister’s story is pretty much the same as yours, except she was just under two pounds at birth and our mother hasn’t yet had a stroke (though she did have breast cancer). It’s seriously tough. Baby sister has also watched her dad (my stepdad) die of Type II diabetes complications (he was over 55 when she

mono also presents with white spots in the throat, though, and requires different treatment from strep. It's a good thing he ruled out mono before treating your strep.

Meh. I already saw this movie back when C. Thomas Howell and Rae Dawn Chong were in it.

the thing is, regular Rice Krispies aren't gluten-free. The kind that doesn't have "gluten-free" on the box is sweetened with malt, and thus not safe for people with celiac (or people who just get the shits from gluten but still tested negative for celiac, like my kid).

Maybe your boobs are like two children who need to be encouraged to hang out with each other. You should give one of your boobs a Kit Kat bar and a Playstation and see if that makes the other one want to come over a little more.

I have really fond memories of talking with just one parent in the car. I love to just go places with only one of my four kids, too, and just enjoy their company.

Are you alleging that the baby in this case starved to death or died of dehydration? Because there's no evidence of that. The ME probably would've put "starvation/dehydration" as the cause of death if that were the case, since those tend to leave damage to the body.

they couldn't even prove that. A five-day-old baby died with no sign of injury. It was more likely than not SIDS or a co-sleeping accident (which is still not manslaughter).

what woman are you talking about? The one in this story definitely did not torture her infant to death. The ME could not even determine a cause of death, but did note that the infant had no signs of injury. It was likely a co-sleeping accident (which may fall under the heading of neglect) or SIDS.

I don't think you have as many plausible reasons to tamper with the right area for a vasectomy. You can say "appendicitis! Very bad, you need abdominal surgery right away!" and have a reason to be at least in the right neighborhood for a tubal. They'd have to invent a whole new thing to explain why a man needed

It was a co-sleeping death that almost certainly wouldn't have met the burden of proof for a murder conviction.

by "work with a guy" you actually mean "attend 7th Grade with a guy", right?

Young GWB has NOTHING on young John McCain. Young Johnny Mac = 15/10, would build time machine in order to bang.

ugh, you women are so mousy and quiet and never actually speak up and contribute.

I know literally no one who supports euthanasia-determined-by-others but not assisted suicide as chosen by the terminally ill. I imagine they exist, but it's just so straight-up eugenicist that I can't imagine people being open about it.

Except addiction is a neurological disease, not a result of bad parenting.

it's pretty shitty to imply that drug use or addiction is the result of bad parenting, like a lot of commenters are doing by shouting "hypocrite! He doesn't want gay people to be parents but he obviously must be a bad parent if his kid has a drug problem!" Addiction is a neurological disease, not a character flaw.
