No. I preferred the TV show, honestly - and liked series 1-6. But after 7 it was just... I couldn’t stand it. Without RDA, I can’t enjoy the show. And without Amanda Tapping, I can’t enjoy the show. Even if they brought it back, I would not watch it. I’m not even sure I’d watch if they brought RDA back, I came to hate…

Slightly OT, but in the 1990s, I had a massive puzzle that was called the Black Hole. It was about 1.5 metres in diam. and it was solid black, just jet black, the whole lot of it. The pieces were about a centimetre or so in size. It was the most ridiculous puzzle I’ve ever seen, and someone stole the bloody thing off…

Seriously. I see news stories about kids starting up businesses to create recycling banks in their neighbourhoods, and videos with young people standing up against lunatics like this teacher. In this mirror dimension, the entire crew of the I.S.S. Enterprise is completely different, and Picard is obsessed with stealing a mysterious ship from the Terran Empire. Somehow The Next Generation has gone all Mirror Universe, and we can’t wait to see it in action!

I remember watching a Stargate SG1 commentary where they used that device and the director was saying what a mistake it was because it looks so fake. I do agree - and now I’ve learnt to spot this stupid device and it drives me absolutely insane every time I see it.
