@roblema: Gas in this country all goes into the same pipeline system. BP gas does not come from BP wells. BP puts x billion gallons into the pipeline and they get paid for that gas by the people taking out of that pipeline.

If high population towers are bottlenecking at the land connection then maybe they would need to throttle 4g. I do not know the infrastructure details to say this with ANY authority…

@WestwoodDenizen: The reason for a non-removable battery from apple standpoint would be form factor. A removable battery requires an openable case which pretty much by definition required rather obvious seams. Something the apple design aesthetic does not seem to like. Also, replaceable batteries mean the batteries…

@WestwoodDenizen: Do you live in the arctic? Batteries in a hot car die REALLY fast. And not discharge die, never hold a charge again type die. Heat is very bad for batteries.

@Steve46: Yeah, I always ended up leaving them in the car, and there they would sit till I remembered them or needed them. Orlando heat mad certain that by the time I needed them they were utterly useless and would no longer hold a charge.

@not_a_virus.exe.vbs: There are several companies that make cases that include batteries that about double the iphone battery life.

@BadPlasmid: It is too easy to be a dick on the internet. I try to think twice before submitting anything, often just typing it is cathartic enough, but I certainly still slip up plenty of times.

I might be too jaded, but I just feel like a lot of these streetview things are staged. Is there a way to track where those cars are going to be?

Seems like the logical way to make a 'case' for this device with the parallel border. Would not work as well on the other iPhone models, but makes sense on the 4g.
