Engame clearly starts after that Caoptain Marvel scene so she’s met Avengers and went on rescue mission. I’m not sure they asked her to find Tony - she might be there because Rocket asked her to find Guardians and he can ping Benatar. Or maybe they could receive mesages from the ship and new Tony was there.

I’m sure they’ll take “rounding” liberties like that which will render their explanation pretty much useless.

I’ve heard tons of people excited about this film. Yes, it is out of sequence with the other movies but who cares? Do you actually go into these movies worried that major characters are going to get killed? Like, in Winter Soldier did you REALLY think Fury was dead? Of course not.
