Wow! What a snappy and forceful comeback. BTW, the correct way of saying that is, “You are an idiot.” Don’t mix up the singular and plural. You can have faith that I’m correct. But if you’re that lazy to use such bad grammar, I’m sure there are plenty of athletes that can help you out.

I also had an ‘89 LX 5.0 hatchback purchased new straight out of college. I loved that car. It was a great car in its day, but that day has come and gone. It would be fun to have another, but not $15k worth of fun. Besides, I never really cared for all the plastic cladding on the GT.

I bookmarked that partsouq.com site for the future. Odd that it has VW and Porsche but not Audi and some of the other VAG makes. This one has more of them https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/

Yep. Bimmer for car. Beamer/Beemer for cycle.

Judging by the condition of the trooper’s armor, he’d been in there a long time.

Having seen the movie, I can say that the explanation was just fine. Obviously, the reviewer really didn’t understand that it’s not Morpheus. I’d have to say my biggest complaint about the movie is that the movie was actually too verbose on its themes.

Not a car name, but I had a Springer Spaniel named Bud; short for Redbud. I’ll let you guess what redbud means.

Saw “The Batman” preview (again) last night at the Spider-Man showing and basically came to the same conclusion. I’m sure I’ll see it at some point, but certainly no rush.

Yep. At this point all a trailer has to do is remind people it’s coming.

I had the same thought. I’m guessing the author has it backwards. The first person asleep gets smacked.

I’m just wondering who the smacker was, since everyone else was asleep before the smackee.

Dampers and dampeners are both correct. My preference is dampers.

This is for getting “work” done while in transit.

Nope. This is how Nunes gets paid off for his work in congress. And of course, done with other people’s money.

I’d bet you anything it was competing against Wendy’s. McDonalds has always seen Burger King as an also ran.

If you’re ever in the neighborhood of Tucson, AZ, they have the first of the Super Guppies ever built on display at the Pima Air and Space Museum. https://pimaair.org/
There’s many very cool planes there including an SR-71A.

That’s not an Oxford comma.

That he even mentioned it now means any potential GB2 would not feature Vigo. He’s not going to give away his real ideas.

I worked one back in the 70's with a basement. It’s where they stored all the dry goods and other non-perishables. The break room was down there too. I’ll bet it’s pretty common.

But where would you sit?
