1. Omid is a male name
1. Omid is a male name
Thank you for communicating this concept. I tried for twenty minutes and couldn’t get it to not sound stupid.
Why is the Times acknowledgement that when Chelsea was convicted, it was prior to her transition, when she was known as Bradley - “wrong”? The transition does not erase the history of who she was prior, it simply corrects her to who she is. But when you look at legal records, they will not be edited to reflect the…
I don’t much care for Dan Crenshaw. I think Fox News is the worst thing to happen in the history of American media. I fully agree with Omar’s point on the unfair scapegoating of Islam. But “some people did something” IS a minimalist way to describe a day of national trauma. She treats it as a subset of the broader…
As a person who sees a lot of herself in “You Stupid Bitch,” it’s incredibly validating to know that those thoughts aren’t only mine. It takes a destructive, intensely personal thought pattern and underlines it as being commonplace and impermanent, IMO. It’s not self-flagellation as a positive, it’s shared experience…
people celebrate that song because they relate to it.
I mean if your spouse dies and someone harassed you right after, you have the right to expose their shitty behavior. He’s still her husband regardless.
Oh, and lest we forget a McCain, wife and mother Cindy doxxed some woman for calling her nasty names in a Facebook message
Are we really mad at the McCains for “doxxing” by posting a super nasty message? I am no fan of any of these people, but they are more than within their rights to fight back in this situation. At the end of the day, John McCain was their family.
Is it really “doxxing” someone if they send you a message with their name (for the purpose of argument we’ll assume that’s actually a real person) and you put that out there?
I don’t think cutting and pasting someone’s public tweet to you really qualifies as ‘doxxing.’
Maybe it’s my lack of an architecture degree that’s holding me back here, but these houses look fine to me. The random round column looks out of place, but otherwise they’re nice houses/rooms. Seems like a case of trying to hard to find something to laugh at where there’s nothing.
I don’t get why you would rate anyone down for not donating to the college they went to.
Word. When did it become a narrative that ppl are obligated to donate to their universities? I’m going to be paying on loans until I’m retirement age; I don’t feel any need to give them any more money.
This is kind of a weird stretch, no? I am all for hit pieces on Schultz and his stupid fucking third party bullshit (I’m all for hit pieces on anyone’s stupid fucking third party bullshit). But even if the guy is a gazillionaire, I find it odd to assume his choice of philanthropy would be his old undergraduate school.
TIL billionaires are just like us! But seriously, why does anyone give money to their alma mater? They got their checks and I got my degree, end of transaction, now please stop calling me.
Who gives a shit?
Nah. We are better than that.
So... your argument is that because you’ve had terrible bosses, other people should too?
As a woman with pcos who just happens to be white, fuck you. You do not have some moral authority on struggling with body hair or being tortured for it/by it.
