Ooh, see, that I don’t know. Obviously you can offset gambling wins and losses, and I wasn’t even thinking about daily fantasy not being considered “gambling.” That is one I would check with the IRS about, but I would lean toward... maybe not since FD and DK give 1099s as opposed to W2-Gs? I’d definitely check with

You can... but you’d better have proof. You still have to claim the winnings though. You’re definitely better off using an accountant for your taxes if you’re in these types of situations.

I agree! I have been diligently commenting on multiple kinja sites for awhile, and this is the only one that I’m out of the greys.

Halfway through season 3, probably. There’s some dumb serial killer shit that starts around there, and I don’t recall the show getting much better after that, though it has been a long time since I watched the series.

I liked the first couple of seasons of Nip/Tuck though. It definitely went off the rails but the first two or three seasons were genuinely entertaining television.

The great thing about SMW is there are tons of ways to rack up lives quickly.

I think the Up! exists in the European market, the US just doesn’t have it. I could be wrong though.

Dude, I freaking love Mango Habanero! Yeah they’re hot but WORTH IT.

I did a little googling, and I think what I'm remembering is a Miyamoto interview where he referenced the film giving them the last name "Mario." It seems that they never made a reference explicitly in the TV show that it was actually their last name, but there was a plot line with their mother where her last name is

Maybe! I bought it on the Wii virtual console not too long ago and I haven't gotten to TTC yet, so I guess I'll see.

Oh, ok, I didn't know that. I had my SNES for a very very long time so I never bothered to get the GBA version.

Well, now I don't remember! I know there's a video out there where someone did it, but I don't remember if it was in the first one or Lost Levels!

It's actually really fun to do. More fun than going in and out of DSZ anyway! Try it sometime!

I… don't believe it did. I'm not 100% sure on that though, don't quote me.

Oh yeah, I had forgotten about that! I always enjoyed jumping up on to platforms and stuff as a kid, so while I remember it being tough, and I know it took me a long time to get all the stars in that level, I had fun doing it, so I was pretty tenacious about it.

Yeah, you're right, you have to jump in high in order to get one of the stars.

I don't remember Tick Tock Clock being that hard… but I really hated Rainbow Ride. I'm impatient, dammit, I want to go at my own pace!

Did you figure out that you needed to jump in at 12 (I think) so everything would be stopped? As soon as I figured that out it was smooth sailing.

I found the DS version really hard to play. That game NEEDS a joystick.

Wasn't it even called Nintendo Cereal System? Yeah, that was definitely some WTF-ness.
