Like, different than what they tell you is coming in your glam room, or different as in different than what you said you liked on your profile? As for the first, I like a surprise so I never check what is coming. And I'm not sure how much bearing the profile quiz really has, but I don't want any eyebrow stuff and I

I have every single one of those darn bags! I put little Christmas and birthday presents in them!!!

I hated Birchbox. It often seemed like a total rip-off. The thing about Ipsy is there is almost always at least one thing I absolutely love and use constantly, from brands that I would never have known about otherwise. I don't know if I've ever gotten dark lipstick, but I have gotten TONS of eyeliner and some pretty

Nah, I didn't figure you were. My mom won't hold people up either, she's just, like, a Disney princess or something and has to say hi to everyone!

Are you my mom? Because that sounds just like my mother. It takes us like 15 minutes extra everywhere bc she loves to talk to everyone. It makes me giggle, honestly.

Yes, that is an excellent way to put it. A lot of times in public I am not at all friendly. But I'm nice mostly! I'll help people out and stuff, I just have no interest in shooting the breeze with strangers.

Me too, but not because I'm shy. I cannot fucking STAND small talk so if I don't have anything to say, I'll just say hi and jet the hell out of there.

Actually that isn't true. 80%-90% are. And I just want you to imagine that you've slid off the runway and the plane catches fire. Imagine the sheer terror of being trapped in your seat while everyone else is sliding out.

I feel like there is a Milani that you'd like, I don't know the name of it but there are swatches everywhere! Plus they're such great lipsticks (I like them better than MAC, they're more moisturizing)!

How about MAC Lady Danger? It's a pretty good orange red!

It's certainly not a ridiculous thing to not know, especially nowadays. If you're working in a craft cocktail bar or your average clientele is 70 year old men, you better know it. Otherwise, nah, that's what the Internet and recipe books are for. But if a bartender doesn't know what a Cuba libre or Cosmo or Margarita

Oh, I agree! Definitely wasn't poking fun. Obviously the story-teller's father thinks so too, since he didn't make a big deal about it. The best part of that story is the adorable little chest-puff confidence detail.

Nah, they're just kind of an "old-timey" drink. Like a Rusty Nail (or Old Fashioneds before they became "cool" again).

Well, that was a pretty shitty thing to say. This isn't the '60s, someone can have tattoos and funky hair AND a decent job. Why don't you go be a judgmental jerk someplace else?

I've done it too, but unfortunately my boyfriend was home. He was sleeping, woke up and noticed I was wearing different clothes, and sat up with such a look of glee in his eyes. It was like Christmas morning - "Why are you wearing different - ZOMG YOU TOTALLY SHIT YOUR PANTS." He STILL laughs about it and it's been

You make some good points, but it is absolutely possible to have skin be both oily and dehydrated. I completely understand that if your skin is oily to super-oily, what I suggested is not going to work. But some people really do have the somewhat paradoxical problem of having skin that is both oily and desperately

Clear or neutral lip liner. Color the WHOLE lip.

I have dehydrated oily skin... In my experience (ESPECIALLY in winter), the more moisture I put on my skin, the better it looks. It isn't near as oily as it used to be when I was trying to strip all of the oil off of it. Some people just have oily skin anyway (which I always will, it's just BETTER when I moisturize

oh that gif is fantastic! I wasn't trying to be snarky, I swear. Internet commenting is a minefield of misunderstanding...

Well, yeah, I mean, I use a serum and moisturizer during the day and serum and night cream before bed, I just meant that she is obviously not using four different day creams and two sunscreens all at once.
