I’m not offended, just embarrassed. I’m gay myself, and saying that the phrase ‘growing up’ is offensive is in my opinion absolutely ridiculous. And good job on instantly name-calling.

I’m very gay and this entire debacle was extremely inoffensive to me, with the “growing up” trophy name perhaps being the MOST inoffensive.
Of course, anyone can and should be offended by whatever they so choose.
I just - personally - wish we picked some of our battles better.
At some point, some company or celebrity is going to say, “I’m hearing you say you didn’t like that, but I’m not changing it, and I’m not changing my mind. It doesn’t make your life harder and wasn’t directed at you in any way. This will just have to be one of those little things that aren’t exactly the way you like…
Just proof that if you think hard enough and get creative enough, you can make anything “offensive”.
gambling has the stipulation that you walk away with literally nothing. like, zero nothing. Loot boxes do not contain ANY chance of rewarding people with an empty crate. or else people who definitely not spend on them. At the bare minimum, you are guaranteed a $1 worth of items.

So what, every company must at all times cater to whatever fad has taken the internet over for about 15 minutes, even if it will age like fine bananas in the fullness of time?
Same thing goes for Nathan Barnatt and his No Bones/boneless dance. Except something tells me that he won’t sue, and will settle for some undisclosed sum and/or a credit.
If they can prove epic animated the dance based on the frame comparisons of the dance? Yes. Which some of these a frame for frame copies of the viral video. If not, then its a lot looser. But some, like the carlton dance, are obviously animated of video rips.

I think it’s been well established that these classic consoles are for people who:
Yeah, but then you would be one of those weirdo’s that talks to all their friends about emulators.
“Again, I get that Shun was seen as a great male role model, but, well, we *do* already have a lot of great male role models bobbing about in media, so I find it hard to see this as a huge loss.”
They’re meant to be opened by little kids. Hard to open them when Sakura won’t get her ass off it for the 30th attempt at a decent snap.
As a Filipino who has been teased with the words “ching chong” as a kid (welcome to growing up as a minority in America! where you get slurred with terms that don’t even apply to you)...I don’t know what to feel.
This is a dumb deal because most Verizon customers don't need a new line of service.

The Defunctland Podcast is also fantastic. Usually, the podcast is an interview with someone at the front lines of the most recently discussed attraction on the channel.
