Well you did skip a step in that. There is the potential that she legitimately thought he was filming but he actually was not. The simpler explanation favors her over him though regardless. His reaction supports your explanation too.

This never happened.
You can SEE in the video that he’s shitting his pants! It’s beauty. He changes direction several times, trying to walk anywhere she won’t follow; he can’t say anything but ‘get out of here’ and flubs all other words; his voice sounds high and strangled like he’s panting but trying to stay cool; he’s walking faster and…
Whoa. I wasn’t implying anything. I believe this woman. I was just asking for particulars. I can understand if my comment read like an accusation, but it was just a question. I’m on her side.
He looks so uncomfortable in this video. That sheepish slink tells you everything.
Stalking is repeated harassment, though. Following someone one time is just regular kind of harassment.
Me too. I hope he's sick with anxiety.
Can you imagine what else is on his phone? His laptop? He probably tells himself it’s totally harmless and “not real life.”
Come on internet, how long does it take to identify someone?
I can’t wait for someone to recognize him and tell his wife. How do you like filming without permission now, fuckface?
I think you can give people a fair amount of public shit if what they’re doing isn’t technically illegal but is still creepy as fuck.
Just a heads up to any women who might be in a similar situation - Do NOT ask them to delete the video/photo. Its evidence, and without it there is no legal ramification.
I’m so sorry all that happened to you, but yeah, it sounds like they decided from a place of empathy to do what was best for you. It makes such a difference to be viewed as a whole human being versus an object, which is how this poor girl was viewed.
I know. Funny how white kids in generally middle-class suburban areas get cared for and the benefit of the doubt and all that, huh?
I think you’re right. Now I’m mad thinking about this - annoying people who go vegan for a short period, provide fodder for stereotypes and articles about vegans who proselytize constantly but secretly/drunkenly eat meat, then drop the veganism, make rude comments to those who are still vegan, and blabber to the rest…
This story, as well as those about Treyvon Martin, Michael Brown, and the other murders that have lead to the Black Lives Matter movement is getting A LOT of press in Canada. Hopefully it’s getting a lot of press internationally and there will be outside pressure on the U.S. authorities to really, finally do something…
That is so cool. Glad you had such a good experience!
No kidding. I had no idea this was culturally accepted there. The more you know!
You replied to me. I don’t think it’s very reasonable to start telling people things and then complain that they listened.
My mom is mentally ill and for whatever reason, her abuse of me really cranked up sophomore year. I went to a small private school so everyone knew everyone’s business, and my mom’s behavior was pretty bizarre.
