I can’t even begin with the horror stories. People just straight up don’t believe you until it happens to them which is usually the first time they get anything worse than strep throat. Doctors are so widely incompetent I can’t believe how little attention this issue receives.

Thank you for real. What’s up with asking you to be 15 minutes earlier when they NEVER see you less than 2 hours after your appointment? I once took my 1.5 yo and newborn to their checkups at 930am and, along with about 10 other patients, waited outside for more than 30 minutes in the falling snow and freezing cold…

There is like one reason to go and a million reasons not to. Therefore the one reason has got to be pretty overwhelming. Once you have more actual experience with health and doctors you’ll realize how pointless and frustrating most doctor visits turn out to be.
