It must be nice to not have any values

J.K. Rowling’s comments are having a real world effect especially in the UK right now. It’s effecting Trans People right now.

To say I love her diminishes the feelings I have for her. Without hyperbole, I will say that Nanette changed my entire life and how I live in the world. I respect and admire her so much.

“lack of responsibility women have for their actions these days” wow how did this comment get approved

She’s the “normal one” in a friend-group of crazies. But the normal ones crack too, eventually. On TV shows, anyway.

Also, black people exist.

If you really lost family to Nazis and believe that a person shouldn’t speak up against bigotry unless someone is actually burning a cross (on their neighbor’s lawn, in fact, screw the people across town I guess), then you aren’t taking it nearly far enough.

1. I didn’t say anything about arguing, so not sure why you’re explaining to me that the idea you assigned to me (arguing) is not as good as the idea I actually espoused (pushing back).

Yes, that is the exact mindset that brought us Nazis marching in the street and running people over. Ignoring racism because “well they’re not exactly burning crosses!” and then being surprised when the crosses come out. Racist white people’s comfort is more important than anything, including the rest of our safety.

If you’re having kids to take care of you later in life you’re a sociopath. Children are not slaves or servants. I would rather die alone in the street than have a miserable child only taking care of me because some part of them is still terrified of me.

Gratitude springs naturally from a cared child. You don’t owe your parents anything.

No pushback at all on racism just being “different perspectives”? Mmkay.

Yeah, a paedophile who genuinely doesn't want to offend would never, in a million years, work with children. This guy wants to offend, but he's looking for a way to make himself feel better aftewards, something so he can say "Well, I tried to get help..."
