I agree with you. Sudekis's dark turn was particularly chilling since I went in with only the preview in my mind. I'm glad I didn't read the review so that I could arrive at OMG TOXIC MASCULINITY IS THE REAL THEME on my own.
But yeah, spoilers are a mixed bag for folks. I like knowing as little as possible so I can

HIGH FIVE! See you in the bouncy house!

I just bought 2 tickets. Last week Canadian public radio was playing his RISD graduation speech, and my friend and I had a panic attack thinking he had died. So I'm considering this like some folks consider going to see any of the old great rockers live so I don't regret it someday.

I'm consistently surprised at how lacking tattoo makeup is in TV shows. It doesn't seem like a particularly hard thing to pull off, yet they alway seem too crisp on the edges and too plastic-y on the surface of the skin.

You and I obviously don't go to the same clubs.

I would like that, but considering the second half of Daredevil's S2, I doubt they have the interest/chops in interrogating Whiteness vs. the "yellow menace." Else the Hand would have been much better— ahem— handled.

Is there any way this *won't* be racist?

Radiolab covered this story and it literally gave me nightmares. Not the wrongful conviction, but the fact that the crime this guy DID commit was so fucking grotesque and horrifying. I will be happily Can't Even-ing away from this doc.

Stark, use your awesome might to save me from this hopeless plight!

I'll never forgive him for casting that wee Phoenix as Bonanza. Horrible casting choice up against the PERFECT choice of Uma. My inner baby dyke weeps for the movie that Could Have Been.

As to Stray Observation #1: I vote Gypsy. If we're avoiding family friendly faire, my real vote is for Company.

I had high hopes for the first one to be a Scream-like send up of action movie cliches, all while telling a fun story.  I was wrong. So, so wrong.
