@RayBradbury's_ElephantMonastery: I watched A Mighty Heart and felt like I was watching an actor huff and puff it throughout the film. The big emotional scene (you know the one) put me off due to the actor's histrionics.

I think Jolie has limited range as an actor. Like Demi Moore, Jolie has a hard time on screen conveying sweetness and vulnerabilty...she also struggles with comedy.
