I can understand the DS thing. I just came back from Otakon with a shiny mudkip, a shiny eevee, a japanese pikachu, and a shiny level 100 magikarp with moves I've never heard of. I'm small, lightweight, and a girl. It wouldn't have been pretty, but I still would have fought back.
It was great this year, although I am still walking a bit funny from being on my feet for almost 3 days straight.
Seems to me like you'd have to have a very compliant book in order to do this. Many of the books I own are dog-eared, with bent pages and rips and stains. And I KNOW my copy of the Marvel Encyclopedia would not fit in that thing.
@redfalcon: =) My mistake. I meant the oil companies in a figurative sense, synonymous with pollution and factories and billowing pillars of smoke. I have no clue whether you could find oil on Mars and now that I think about it, an interesting question to research.
@benihime: I would marry a guy who asked me out like this. seriously.
@Miguel Henriquez: Nobody's forcing you to read 'amateur' articles you know. you can just skip right over them and go straight to the ones that suit your taste... just like every other Gizmodo reader.
We would actually want BP up there, and all the other oil companies too. the air pollution they would undoubtedly contribute would serve to create an atmosphere more similar to Earth's.
I really need to upgrade. I still have the original and it is dying a slow, sad death. At this point I'm just waiting for it to shut down permanently or blow up in my hand.
First year of college in a month, I think my parents will like this post. =)
This was once my sole reason for wanting to visit Japan. Who needs to go see shrines and museums? Bring on the life-sized Gundam!
Since when was Ty a great success? When that game came out I was the kind of kid who sucked at video games and pretty much took a game if it was offered. I had a cousin try to give that game to me and i told him to keep it.
@iTofu 3GS has no reception problems: I don't know if AutoCAD is the most popular, but I just graduated high school and I've been using it since freshman year. I'd never even heard of Solidworks and others until I was a Senior. That's gotta count for something in terms of popularity.
