Look at mirrorless cameras, it’s what you want. Like the Sony A7. They are nice and improving fast, but nowhere as fast and precise as DSLRs on focus speed.

Your logic is interesting, but in fact, it’s the opposite, bigger phones tend to have better batteries, as the extra space for the battery makes up for the extra power the screen uses, because screen power consumption vs size isn’t linear and the main board, in most cases, is the same size as the smaller phones.

Gizmodo loves to say hoverboards aren’t hoverboards but say it was ”caught on tape.” C’mon mans, we all use flash storage now.

The problem is how the sensor works. Global shutters in modern CMOS sensors needs more on-sensor circuitry because every pixel value is needed to be stored twice.

If everyone is hating it on the start, it’s going to be a success.

That’s exactly my thinking. Lots of people, especialy those in open-source projects, don’t like the idea of having these type of funding, with the obligation of returning money and profits instead of a finished product.

I rarely say something like that from gizmodo, but this review sucked hard.

Chrome has GPU acceleration for a while, and even GPU aceleration is useless. There’s no hadrware decoder that supports it now.
