i miss constantine. it was only getting started! :(
still, at least izombie and lucifer are still going. they’re lots of fun :)

yes and no. you don’t get the entirety of the storyline. you don’t get the full impact of green arrow’s first interactions with the flash on the crossovers, for example, without knowing his background. you’d also miss felicity smoak, who is all kinds of awesome.but can i honestly say your life would be better with

isn’t this the case across the board, though? when i was a kid, 90-minute movies were par for the course. we had entertaining, tightly-written movies with plotlines and character development that still managed to retain their focus. the odd one or two movies that came out that were much longer *and* managed to be

sounds like that’s one of those that is worth it, then. to be fair, martin are known for their quality. however, i would question whether most people would notice the difference to a point where they’d spend 5k on it...
i’d also say acoustic makes for more difference than electric, as the sound is purely from

nah, that’s just a poor setup. sadly, most guitars are badly set up, and very few guitar shops bother to correct that before they put them on display.

thing is, most of what you talk about there is setup, not the guitar. sure, crappy cheap wood, shoddy glue-ing/bolts etc will make a difference in time. but things like the strings, the tension, the neck, the relief, the action, the intonation, tuning stability... that’s pretty much all setup. now, sometimes, a guitar

oh, the proverbial hornet’s nest for a guitar player...
as a guitar player myself, the differences between guitars are not usually price-related, but in how they feel when you play them. it’s an intangible thing - you’ll find a guitar that just feels right for you, and that’s it. you have to have it.

i just watched it a few days ago with my daughters.
more or less completely forgot about it, and accidentally watched it after the avengers instead of before thor, so screwed up several chronological bits.
still enjoyed it, and still a better movie than anything dc have done recently, and (animated movies aside) than

unfortunately, no, it does not depend on the skill level of the user. a competent user will get the best of the knife, sure. but a santoku is simply not designed to be as versatile. it is designed to be a japanese housewife’s knife, and the name means ‘three virtues’ - an advertising phrase intended to sound faintly

logitech harmony, all the way.

my point is that a santoku isn’t as versatile by design. it only allows for a vertical chopping motion. a chef’s knife can do that as well as everything else, too.

my favourite is this one:

a santoku is only a neutered chef’s knife. why limit yourself?

it’s mostly to do with pressure and the angle of the knife.

so.... basic yoga?

so, not waterproof, then.
imo, even the pretty design doesn’t make up for not making it waterproof, and it won’t replace my kobo aura h20.

so... faster than the roku 1 or 2, but not the 3? even though it has exactly the same guts as the 2?

get a sony xperia, then. i regularly get two days out of mine with regular use, and in over a year i’ve never failed to get to bedtime without battery left even with heavy (at least for me) usage.

hell no. although if you had prime i could see the benefit of a kindle for using the lending library... but i much prefer something that handles open standards instead.
as to the kobo aura h20, it doesn’t work underwater - but at least it doesn’t die if i accidentally drop it :)

heretic! it’s obviously the kobo aura h20... it has a backlight and it’s waterproof so i can read in the bath/swimming pool in the dark, so it’s obviously the best one ;)
