Aside from just personal preference, how about because borders force them to. Yeah, let’s keep those disgusting migrants out, but how on earth could anybody live *there*?!

No Joni Mitchell reference at all?

Such a limited and bland vocabulary. The resulting inner voice must be profoundly depressing and explains the constant need for overcompensation.

Patents are for actual technical implementations. Otherwise eg. warp drives would already be patented or, as you suggest, public domain too. This Apple patent specifies particular implementations. Speculation can not be patented.

We just don’t that the word is there - it’s been obscured

“Celebrity” seems to be the new favorite denunciation term. Meryl Streep is an actress. Acting is a distinguished craft and profession. Any celebratory status she holds comes from her work as an actress, not baseless self aggrandizement like some reality television cast.

The essence of the internet is that it has no borders, no enforceable ones anyway. That’s how and why it transforms society. While old people keep debating how to divide their entitlements, the internet already discarded every last one of them.

As someone who never had the chance to visit such an environment all I can think of when seeing these photos is how absolutely beautiful it looks. It used to have moderate amounts of winter snow where I live, hardly haven’t had any in the last five years.

I don’t even dispute that, but both options are wasteful, and using time and resources just to switch from one bad cash solution to another in a time of digital finance seems incredibly shortsighted.

Hopefully and bitcoin is incredible for this evolution, but that’s exactly why a government devoting time and resources to something like this bill redesign seems so gratingly regressive and wasteful. It perfectly mirrors the tonedeafness of Britain’s EU leave however.

Backups secure data, not fragmented hardware architecture that may or may not retain data pieces in a broken machine.

HDD speeds and mechanical sensitivity are certainly not missed.

Over-nutured? Yes clearly civilization suffers from too much care and love, thanks for the enlightenment.

Hmm, I’m not sure, but well written counterpoint, thanks.

The basic populist strategy is to lower the discourse until the barbaric is normal. Seems it’s well underway, and the downfall is rather meteoric.

That’s absurd, free will doesn’t end with money. And personally I’m poor, not destitute.

I said I was in disbelieve, I don’t ridicule them, they just puzzle me in their inconsideration for the natural world that sustains them. I don’t address it with them, I reserve my judgements for my own life, but I’m still aware of who they are and the inevitable grief their choices bring for all of us. But everyone

Calling a poor individual smug is weird. What do you want to take from me, what little I own, or, as usual with the poor, my dignity?

People who hand-wash their wool clothing smell, got it. Can we move on to preserving the planet now? Smell won’t make a difference there.
