But when you are putting a deposit down on an allocated product that is basically as close to being yours as possible. Some dealers even lied about allocations. That is a bigger story IMO.
Personally I don’t think “treat your most enthusiastic customers like crap until they actually take delivery of the car” is a great customer service policy.

The problem is you get people whining about how work trucks need to be allowed to get lower fuel economy so that they can actually do work. To which I say fine: make your passenger cars more efficient to make up for it.

Here’s the main problem.
By CR’s logic, “cruise control” should mean the car is in control as it cruises. That does not mean I can go plop my feet on the dash while on the interstate. You are right that drivers still bear the ultimate responsibility of being in control of the car.
