Yes, but those things will only go so far. There need to be functional differences as well. More power is one way, and more battery (at least in EV) is another way.

Perhaps, but the Model S will certainly still have size, styling, and higher end interior finishes available to differentiate it. It will still be the flagship and I can’t imagine there will be that much cross shopping between the two.

I’m not surprised. Tesla will probably announce this sometime close to the Model 3 event. This could give the Tesla Model S a bona-fide 300 mile range. Or 800km on the NDEC cycle. I kid, I kid.

Awesome reaction by Mr Stark.

Well, in this case, good hacking = free media exposure = free publicity

Finally a company and CEO brave enough to stand up for enthusiasts and understand that cars are at once emotional and art. Imagine if we no longer had composers making classical music, because clearly everyone should be making electronic music - the most modern and advanced type. That’d be absurd right?

In the front, they’ve got a Rimac Automobili D-PM-OC-500 and in the back a Rimac Automobili D-PM-OC-600.

Those are two motors integrated into one casing, so those power numbers of 500 kW (671 hp) and 600 kW (804 hp) seem to apply to the pairs of motors at each axle.

I clarified that in the writeup.

And yes, the two…
