That's a great story.

Watch the "What about the children??" crowd get up and fight you on this but I'll join you in this train of thought. Why should a car that can comfortably cruise at 100 in good conditions be limited to what could be an unsafe speed for another car? I understand speed differential is a big reason why crashes happen,

Good luck. I did "Running Start", which is a program for high school students that allows juniors and seniors to take college courses to get college and high school credit for free. I did that and those 2 years almost didn't apply towards my transfer degree requirements, so I'm doing another 2 years. Then the

The struggles of eternal college life. I'm 4 years into a 2 year degree and I'm planning on 4 more to complete my bachelors/ doctorates.

I'm looking forward to replacing my S60R with this car 6 years from now... where I'll be the third owner. Hopefully I'll finally be out of college then.

You can't even begin to realize how jealous I am.

That's disappointing! At least my car isn't on that list. I haven't really taken my car (S60R) out on the snow yet. The snow gods have been lazy this winter in the PNW.

Which Volvo's did you have that didn't work in the snow?

My car is turbocharged and has variable valve intake and exhaust cams, the technology is ready. We must build the "six million dollar man" of an engine. I for one welcome our new turbo-per-cylinder overlords.

Thanks for clearing that up! Cool concept

Wait is that a V8 with 8 little turbos?

I'm super duper excited for this sub-blog!

Warning, photos of dead guy in that article. That's gruesome

I'm holding out for a new performance wagon by Volvo. The V70-R is pretty cool but the used ones are already getting high on maintenance for all the little problems they're known for.

That's genius. He's my hero

I've been saying this for ages: let the camera have a square sensor, and let it crop to whatever aspect ratio the app desires. That way we don't have to deal with vertical video, but if Snapchat needs its vertical video to function it can have it.

That sounds like a handful. Be sure to keep us posted with your results, I bet it'll be highly entertaining (for me). The haldex system on my car receives a lot of both praise and hate, I'm guessing depending on the level of skill of driver.

It's a blast to drive! Turbo lag for days, the clutch engages high, the gearbox is rubbery, it's pretty unreliable and it has the turning radius of a semi but I love it. It looks good, it sounds good and it's like a comfy STi. I just got it a month ago so we'll see how well its AWD copes with the usual ice-over on our

If they can put a new high-performance S60 on the market, I'll be sure to be the first one to buy one (used). I hope the Estate concept will continue to roll across all the Volvo models.

Woohoo my car made it onto a list! It made it up the steep hill we live on that got iced over no problem. Now for the long-term test about the ground clearance and battery issues.
