This episode was Root's tour de force, from her desperation in attempting to save Shaw in one second, and efficiently killing Samaritan's agents in another, she really gave us all of the sociopath we know and love. I know she will not lose hope or give up on Shaw. <3

Samaritan is young and does not know enough about humanity to come to a different conclusion. That's why his logic seems silly to us. Hubris is both Dominic's and Samaritan's greatest weakness.
