Gotham has combined the best aspects of the 60s Batman series and the Burton movies (with an unnecessary dash of that Nolan nonsense) to create the kind of show I want to see more of on television. I am a huge fan of camp (google my username if you want to know my favorite show of all time), and Gotham embraces it

She's perfectly fine. Not every child actor can be Dakota Fanning.

I like that it's obvious. Subtlety is fine, but it is not necessary for every single show on television. I love that Gotham embraces the campy elements inherent to all superhero fiction.

Bruce and Selina belong together so I am pretty happy that their love story is starting young.

His nose is fake.

This episode was terrible, which is a shame because I have loved Gotham up till this point. Ben Edlund was a great writer on Supernatural, so I expected more. The episode did have two cool moments, though: Selina breaking into Wayne Manor (something I'd love to see Catwoman do in the comics), and the final scene at

As a shipper, I don't want to see Peter and MJ with other people. It ruins the sanctity of the Peter/MJ relationship.

Not at all. My favourite characters shook up the status quo: Cass Cain as Batgirl, Steph Brown as Batgirl, Barbara Gordon as Oracle, Connor Hawke as Green Arrow, Kyle Rayner as Arrow, Jean-Paul Valley as Batman. But true love is true love, and it's important that soulmates are kept together. I want to see stories that

Yes it does. That's why I go online and talk so much. I'm trying to correct people's way of thinking before they're too far gone.

And again, you never addressed why you felt the need to be snarky with me. I guess anyone feels like they can mouth off when they're online and don't have to worry about being punched in the teeth.

What's with the attitude? Why are you being so rude to me? Don't mock laugh at me—-it's mean-spirited and nasty-minded.

Mmmm no. It's not. Not everyone likes the Brubaker era. I know that's hard for you to accept, but not everyone likes what you like.

I looooved the 90s run and hated the Brubaker noir run/

I will give Brubaker some credit, though. Towards the end of his run, he had Selina and Bruce go on a date, culminating with them making love on her couch. Now that was a game-changer and provided a lot of forward momentum in the "Brulina" relationship. So I am thankful for that.

As a gay man, I don't find Balent's Catwoman sexy at all (his Batman, however, is gorgeous). I don't have a problem with big boobs or Playmate poses. It doesn't matter to me. What I loved about his art is how he drew her as an accomplished gymnast and captured motion in static images so well. And his Selina was very

I can't help it. I'm literally in a state of shock. It blows my mind that anyone would like that piece of garbage. And there's no "half-serious" about it. When the original Brubaker run was being published, I would get into arguments with him over it on the old DC message boards. I loathe the Brubaker era and how it

Sure Gwen came first but her role has always been to provide angst and trouble for Peter and MJ. They created her first to set her up for that role when they finally introduced MJ.

So now Slott is trolling Peter/MJ fans with this Silk thing? Disgusting.

I'm aware that SM/WW is editorially mandated, but Soule still chose to
write the book. He didn't have to. Obviously he condones the SM/WW
relationship and that's not cool with this Clois fan. (Also, you won't be reading DC for much longer, though, as Soule signed a Marvel-exclusive contract.)

…..your point being?? Gwen appearing first means nothing. Mary Jane is Peter's soulmate and definitive love interest. First love does not equal true love.
