I know he said that, but it's silly to wait on the studio when the fans have proven we are ready, willing and able to Kickstart a sequel. My credit card is practically begging me to use it on Veronica Mars 2.

The box office only includes the money it made in theaters. Remember, it was a limited run on only a few screens. We have no idea how much money it made from digital downloads. I bet the majority of the film's profit came from digital sales since not everyone was able to see it in theaters. The movie made $3 million…

Which is sad, because BluRay/DVD is a much better format than digital download.

But this is more The Ryan Hansen Show than Veronica Mars. Excited for the second book too——I just hope it's followed up by another movie (or another season).

I want to be excited for this, but what I really want is a sequel (or, better yet, fourth season). If Warner Bros. won't fund a sequel out of their own pocket, I would gladly Kickstart another film. This webseries is too meta for my taste and doesn't continue the actual Veronica Mars story.

They know we like shiny things and are playing to our addiction. I'm not buying extra books this month, but I am excited for the shiny covers for the regular books I get.
