We already know he's a good guy, but I am glad the flashbacks are reminding us. If Sookie and Bill don't reunite in the finale, I will be pissed.

I loved this episode! They are slowly building to a Sookie and Bill reunion, which makes this 'shipper very, very happy. Jessica and Jason is very "meh" to me—-my gut says Violet will undo the glamouring Jessica performed on Hoyt (he is back as a series regular), which will be interesting. I was surprised to see that

To each their own. Angel and Faith was good, but the Buffy book was the one I most looked forward to reading each month. Lots of interesting developments and cliffhangers.

I hope you read Season 9 and are reading Season 10.

All of this plays out better in the comic books than it does in someone else's summary.

She also faded out of existence in Season 9.

Agreed. Season 8 went too over the top but Season 9 brought things back to earth. So far, Season 10 is pretty good but I am still partial to 9.

Joss hasn't written any scripts for Season 10, but the ideas (mostly) come from him. He also oversaw the Season 10 Writers Summit last year.

If you gave up on the comic books after Season 8, you really need to give Season 9 (and the current Season 10) a try. They went for a back-to-basics approach, and it worked.

I disagree. I thought Lettie Mae was extremely genuine in that finale scene with Tara and it was a turning point in their relationship.

That's a shame. Adina Porter is one of this show's most talented actors.

The Reverend/Willa scene was fine, but why was so much screentime wasted on characters no one really cares about? Same goes for Adilyn and Wade. And any scene with Violet or Nicole. There's nothing particularly wrong with these characters, but they shouldn't have been upped to series regular. The final season should

Lettie Mae is a great character, very well-acted, and I am glad she's back to being a series regular like she was in the first (her best) season. I'm annoyed that they killed off Tara because last season's finale set the stage to really explore and develop Tara and her mother's relationship in a positive way.

Really? That scene in the Season 6 finale between Tara and Lettie Mae was perfection.

No way, Boy Meets World and Sabrina was the best pairing.

You would be correct.

You say "overproduced" like it's a bad thing. I love the lush, deep production. The Ultraviolence album is underproduced and boring.

I am a Lana fan who loved Born to Die and Paradise, but this album doesn't work for me. Outside of West Coast and the title track, it's boring. Where is the hip hop influence? Where is Gangsta Nancy Sinatra? I blame Dan Auerbach's production moreso than Lana.

That's easy: the iTunes store.

No love for Road to Nowhere?
