I really think the show this season is paring down to the core characters. I predict that Jorah's arc, as it relates to the larger arc of Ice and Fire, is done.

you don't have to read the reviews or the comments. If you want to enjoy the show, without knowing what comes from the books, then just watch the show and on Monday morning, move on with your life until next week. My point still stands. There is a way to avoid this problem, but you don't want to take it.

Can I ask a (rather minute, in the grand scheme of things) question? I didn't read the books but got really into the show and read a lot of wiki entries to catch up… Why are the Mormont ladies still called Mormont? The She Bear was born a Mormont, but married, and had a lot of daughters. Shouldn't they all have their

You don't have to watch the Inside the Episodes, though. You just want a reason to be mad at them.

I think the purpose of Greyscale was that it would be Jorah's demise.

No, I thought so too. I like him and all, but yes, Dany is right - can't banish you, can't keep you. The only solution is to send him on an impossible mission and basically a kiss good bye. I don't think we're seeing Jorah again.

in the "Inside the episode" this week DB and Dan talked about their meeting with GRRM and how he explained Hodor's origins to them. There are probably a few more things like that he told them at that meeting.

and we've all been so focused on lyanna it's easy to overlook benjen. until he's needed.

bye felicia

dragonglass-tipped spear to the neck.

oooo i like this. we have not seen the last of her, i think

Shay sucked, I'm glad she's gone. New Age crystal hippie hipster with her scarves and big blanket coats and big mugs of tea. good riddance, she was distracting cosima.

Oh, I agree, I found the reviews that focused on gender to really miss the point, which I found best illustrated by Tyrion's scenes. It's no longer (or not yet) time for brute force. It's time to build alliances. Sansa and the northern houses. The Vale getting involved to save the North. Cersei and the Tyrells.

I think she was quite clear that she didn't fear him, and probably wouldn't break under torture.

;) thx

Snowpiercer had a very black-and-white view of who was good, who was bad, and why. High Rise is much, much more ambiguous, and more ambivalent.

I just don't think he would ever convince me that he *sincerely* wanted to sail on the Good Ship Lollipop. He's too sarcastic, deep in his bones, to ever have an "all" to give it.

I think it would be fun to actually tickle him to death. Like, tie him up and have people tickle him until he asphyxiates. His panic in the last few hours as he realizes what will happen … that would amuse me.

He was "a" khal's bloodrider. Moro, I think.
