Mexico has a plan for reducing migration: more thoroughly develop Central American nations so that people won’t have to flee their country of origin. And while Mexico would prefer the US help out with this, they are perfectly happy to ask China instead, since China is apparently increasing investment in the region.

This is definiely Salemdipitous news.

Where are the Reasonabilists when you need them? Zorp would have this straightened out in no time. Of course, he’d do that by using his volcano mouth to incinerate all of us, but still!

So basically, I was thinking too literally. Though, I had the feeling it was a systemic thing.

I’ve been thinking about this and need to ask: is disparity taking times of hire into account? For example, is it saying a man and woman hired at the exact same time will have that disparity? Or is it factoring in men getting hired over women and thus earn more because their privilege got them a job faster/longer? Or

Ryan Zinke is in trouble.”

Everyone is held to the sake standard”

I eagerly await the New York Times opinion columnists’ upcoming strong condemnation of this blatant violation of Amawi’s rights.”

Ah, ‘Muricans at their finest.

They’ve been married for 39 years, so apparently being at opposite ends of the political spectrum wasn’t a deal breaker. I think their mutual contempt for me was a big unifier, hahaha.

“But, I mean, you can’t go out and paint a mustache on Abraham Lincoln. You know, or the Washington Monument? You can’t go paint, ‘Go Mexico,’ on the Washington Monument and get away with it.”

My father was always a hardcore Republican, and even he’s had it with the party. I think he’s more or less an Independent now.

This whole legal vs illegal thing in regards to immigration needs to end. Let anyone in who wants to come in, and if they commit a violent crime, deal with them accordingly. People don’t need to be afraid of immigrants, they need be standing up to the racist monsters tormenting them.

They also need to learn that religious freedom doesn’t give them the right to oppress people they don’t like or agree with. And stopping them from doing so isn’t oppressing them, it’s helping the people they want to hurt.

The thought of my tax dollars being used to pay sexual assault settlements makes me nauseangry. This is beyond gross, it’s bureaucratic evil at its worst.

The disgusting thing is even that’s already happened, with the security guard. Racism and guns really don’t mix.

Especially if it’s a white teacher with students of color. This is a catastrophe in the making.

It was just a typo, I promise! :-)

FFS, Anne, it’s not about hating white men. It’s about getting (rich) white men to stop oppressing everyone else.

I wish it wasn’t necessary, that our justice system was able to do the job. Alas...
