We’re at the point that we can’t hope that political leaders (or anyone in power) will do anything to fix this. It’s up to us, the people, to fix it ourselves. I’m thinking mass tax boycotts, general strikes, whatever we need to do to show the people in power we aren’t toys for them to play with and abuse.

It definitely takes a lot of hard work. Looking inside oneself and purging all the indoctrinated bullshit built up over the years; it’s like regeneration. Painful, but you get there in the end.

Ooof, that is a very long story. The short short version is that I had a huge amount of terrible things happen to me — some my fault, some not — and it made me extremely empathetic to what oppressed groups are going through. But more than that, it was seeing more and more groups represented positively in entertainment…

Imagine how someone who’s 80 feels.

But then things here would get even worse, and the US would just end up invading and destroying your country anyway. The solution isn’t running, it isn’t hiding; it’s fighting these monsters to our last breath.
