ugg.. this world is getting worse by the day. silent racing is just boring. i will never get into electric racing. great tech but just very little soul.
I never use the race pads on the street. Like you said, they are not safe. Luckily, Porsche makes it easy to change pads - in about 15 - 20 min, so it is never an issue.
It was 1980, I was a young kid in elementary school. I remember the very cool purple car sitting in our neighbors driveway. It sat, and sat, and sat for years. The owner decided his early 70's Sonett was already at a few years young, not worth it. Not a good sign.
Ok. In order - the cars my mom drove us around in:
Of course they did. We deserve it. Merica!
True. Stock is very capable. But remember the day I switched to Castrol SRF brake fluid and Pagid Yellow race pads in my 911. I was literally laughing in my car as it would brake from 130 to 50 with such force, over and over and over again with zero fade. 30 minute stints have little affect on those pads and fluid -…
Cute...my wife would say.....
I am giving it NP for originality. Being a kid of the 80's, I love these light and smaller cars. Drive it for a while, maybe give it a decent respray at some point, and sell it for more than you paid in 5 years.
I can’t stand seeing that much rim sticking outside of the tire wall. There I said it!!! Too bad it is semi stanced - kills the look.
Well done sir. You read my mind. Saw this movie a few weeks back after not seeing it in at least 15 years. This opening is still as good a I remember.
Caddy has the same issue as all GM products - the interiors are not even close to the design and quality of the Germans. You spend time inside of the car driving the thing, and I have never got a luxury or quality feeling from any Caddy or GM car. No special feeling. Terrible dash designs, steering wheels, seats...all…
Agreed. I like the current stadium’s easy access. Look at how the minor league baseball team turned around when it moved into the Uptown area.
I have two Landcruisers. A 98 w/ 230k and an 11 w/ 105k. I couldn’t imagine getting rid of either. The 98 looks like it has 75k on it and the 11 looks like 25k.
Heavy? You need to check out the latest Brooks. Pretty light from what I have found. Granted, I got hurt running in Brooks about 20 yrs ago, and swore to never again buy them. I ran in Nike up until a year ago - their shoes have turned to crap. Needed a new brand that could fit my custom insoles. Reluctantly tried out…
Freshman in high school. Mid 80's was the last original decade. There, I said it.
NP. B/c I love 80's wagons. My mom had a Cressida, which I prefer over the Maxima, when I was in high school. Too bad most don’t look like this any longer.
The day I sold it. Sad face.
I drove a new 3 series two years ago when a recall on the E90 was being done. It felt huge (big as the E39) for a 3. The steering was disconnected, and the build quality seemed off. Plus, everything was electronically connected - so I guess the days off wrenching or slowly dying, unless I do a master mechanics course.…
I had that exact car...sadly, in a sedan. The sport package w/ the BBS wheels looked amazing. I did get the next generations’ 5 series wagon in blk / blk. Was a great family hauler.
