Well considering the fate of the D.A. I assume Stephen Rider was made a series regular due to his role growing later in the series. Plus in the comics Blake Tower had a lot to do with Misty Day (Luke Cage) and Iron Fist

The show really has nothing to do with the movie outside the title and the character's profession….and as a huge Soderbergh fan I can confidently say the series is 10x better than the film.

The show doesn't really do any editorializing or moralizing as regards the profession of prostitution. But I suppose the mere fact that it's receiving exposure may increase people's acceptance

People have been going to bars and having one night stands forever…this isn't new nor is it rare…especially in the age of Tinder

Yeah it's part of what makes it a really good binge watch. The episode's over before you know it and you're pining for another

Saw the series….it's definitely not this racy soft-core porn type show as it seems to be portrayed in the trailers. Feels more like a tense indie thriller….very similar to Seimetz's Sun Don't Shine. If you liked that movie, I think you'll like this series. If you found SDS boring, this probably won't be your cup of

Power is the biggest hit on Starz. Seems to fit the same audience as Empire. This show feels more like a prestige series, with its indie feel and Soderbergh's name behind it.
