Same! I was at a firm that kept having the layoff date moved, too. “ACTually, we need you still! You’re not laid off for another month!”  “Actually, haha, we’re still incompetent, still need you!”  That was a living hell.  I got out as soon as I could.

Ohhh my godddd same.  Actually I hated beards (especially the really big gross ones)... until I started dating my (now) husband. I still hate them, but his is fine? It’s weird. But he DOES take care of it and it doesn’t get like huge and bushy and gross.

The thing about people crying about it coming out in taxes instead is that.... it would kind of even out, or even be less for some people? I mean, think about it. Yes, your taxes might be marginally higher, but you wouldn’t be paying $1,200 a month premiums..........
