Oh absolutely, the devastation HIV/AIDs caused in the LGBT+ community before the straights started being affected is a horrific stain on the history of the US and really the world at large. And agreed, one of the main reasons we are in such desperate need of diversity is to stop these things from continuing to happen.

I’m from one of those tiny voices states - our racism/bigotry/stone-age worldviews can be kept muted, tbh.
