I think it’s more likely that he can’t wait to put it all behind him and spend the rest of his life chilling on some private island. They couldn’t stop him if they wanted to. He pushed himself as the alternative to the Republican “establishment” so they had no power over him. Which also means the party overlords probably weren’t that motivated to help him avoid embarrassment. I suspect they hate his guts and are secretly happy to watch him burn.

It’s funny to me that men looking like him even dare to rate anyone’s appearance. I mean Trump is not even a 1 out of 10. Maybe a -1. Granted, I’m not even attracted to men that look older than 25, but Trump looks particularly disgusting even for a fat old man. I think his personality has a lot to do with it.

They support what he promised them—a white America where other races are invisible, immigrants are kept out, abortions are illegal, and rape is women’s own fault. For as long as they believe that he’ll deliver that, they’ll forgive him anything.

They are not as devoted as desperate. Conservatives feel that their world has been crumbling, and Trump gave them hope that the progress of the past few years could be reversed. To be fair, Trump’s got nothing on the Bushes, in money or power. They will take care of Billy, if only to protect the “family name.”

Unless they officially release a tape—publicly, like at a press-conference or by broadcasting it—it’s still a leak. You can do what you like with to footage you own but you have to do it openly. Secretly passing it to someone else to make it public, especially after 11 years makes it look shady.

It doesn’t seem like Billy thinks he did anything wrong. He might regret getting caught, but feeling ashamed—I doubt it

I’d rather see him gone, because I live among his supporters and I know that he can still win. They don’t care what Trump has said or done, they just want abortion banned, immigrants out, and minorities back “in their place.” And they will support him till the bitter end.

They really should come up with such process. It’s true that nothing like this had ever happened (or could have been imagined) but now that it has, some last-minute-candidate-dump procedure should be established.

Thanks for the cat pictures. The Internet is particularly disturbing today, and I was about to start looking for cat videos. I hope the kitties keep getting their medical pot without anyone going to jail.
