You know this, of course, but if only viable lawsuits made it to the petition stage, our system would need about one-millionth fewer legal professionals. There’s always some idiot who’s willing to file on your behalf. $$$

I’m old enough to have thought Lisa Bonet was gorgeous when she appeared on Cosby. And I even think she’s a good looking woman now. It’s shocking to me that women (or people, really) still think they can change another person even in the face of many others before them. My dad married five women and each thought she was The One. She wasn’t. And he had no money, a drinking problem, and gross friends.

You silly. I actually take a tiny bit of pride in my account so I have a decent number of followers for an old bag and I don’t follow my kid, I merely use my account to check hers occasionally. And really, is getting money from him any kind of justice? I’m not judging that, just thinking that it may feel worse to win a civil verdict that’s monetary than have him punished in a criminal court.

This is shockingly common in new relationships. I’ve certainly been guilty of it - def when I was in my 20s - but perhaps you were born mature and level-headed?

I’ve been a consistent voice against this, but it does remind me that when I worked at a Borders Book Shop, I often was asked for a certain book and one of the helpful hints offered as I tried to figure out what they wanted was “it’s got a red cover.”

I disagree; I don’t think it is a person’s choice to get the vax or not. Blah blah blah social contract, etc. Mostly, it’s because your choice could end up killing someone.
