I had to clean vomit from the floor more than once and the bathrooms were horrific.  At a nice, suburban Borders Book Shop. The people who shopped there were demanding assholes and customers would come in and ask for “that red book.”

We’re all pretty girls! I’m glad to vote for Sanders if he’s the nominee - and god knows we’ve needed a voice like AOC’s for a long, long time. I also respect the hard work that HRC has done during the course of her lifetime. There’s so much to like about so many of the women in the Democratic Party. 

I hear you. It DOES sound like a Kansas housewife. However, since folks are plugging stuff, I’ll say that Kansas has lots of Mexican-American communities and lots of really good Mexican restaurants with A+ salsa!

My grandmother’s best friend used to make killer salsa so good we fought over bottles of it. She lived . . . in Kansas.

This is where my head is right now. I just finished Underground Railroad and that, coupled with all the “white anxiety” amplified by the trump supporters just leaves me to conclude that the “browning of America” is a godsend.

Bring black and brown men and women out of poverty and the remaining shackles of slavery to live as respected members of society. I honestly believe things won’t get better in this country until white people are just a distant memory. Black and brown people have earned America in a way white people never will.

And who is everyone turning to these days to get shit done?  See 2018 midterm elections.
