Pretty much. There are white kids out there with 2.5-3.0 grade averages, zero extra-curricular activities and no standout qualities who think they should be able to waltz into any college they want and if they don’t get in it’s because “less qualified” black and brown people took “their” spot.

The NYT article linked above even mentions that police even admit that they use civil forfeiture assets seized to pad their budgets. They aren’t even bothering to hide it. This is a cash grab for police departments and has nothing to do with fighting drugs.

I feel the same way. While I know I am being petty by hoping Trump supporters feel the effects of these awful policies, there are a lot of good, decent folks who are going to get caught up and will get hammered.

Not surprising. This bill is so bad they want to be exempt from its effects. Every single GOPer who supports this bill should be forced to answer why Congress is exempt from this new bill (if it passes and gets signed).

You can tell by the officer’s voice when he realized who he pulled over that he got real scared real quick. He was practically hyperventilating as he was reciting his bullshit excuse about running her tags. When she snapped her fingers and asked for his card he got that info for her super quick.

ABC is becoming the game show network because they can produce those shows on the cheap. It doesn’t seem like they (or most places) are giving shows much of a chance anymore before pulling the plug. Even Netflix is cancelling shows left and right and you would think they would allow more time to let shows catch on.

Agreed. The show acted like her assholishness was charming and it isn’t. Personally I’m tired of main characters that are jerks that the show begs us to like and whom we’re supposed to root for. Nope.

I loved Sense8 and I still am coming to terms with it being cancelled.
