I know two black Trump supporters.
I know two black Trump supporters.
I had women tell me that Trump and Pence aren’t really going to defund Planned Parenthood, get rid of Roe v. Wade, try to get rid of birth control, etc. They also used the “boys will be boys” defense about Trump’s behavior with women. What is staggering that some of these women were in their 20s and 30s and saw…
He only did 1% better among blacks overall but I am hearing that he actually got 30-40% of black men under 30 which staggered me. I’m not 100% sure of that number but that is what is/was being reported on a couple of other sites I am a member of.
It all depends if the Dems turn out in midterms in which they have a very poor record of doing so. Republicans vote anywhere, anytime no matter what year it is. Dems don’t and that needs to be changed.
I’ll admit that I nearly shed a tear or two last night but now I’m angry.
I don’t mind Stein running but what burns me is that people who supported Stein and voted for her usually don’t vote for other Greens - especially in their local and state elections. Then they whine about why the Green Party can’t get on ballots. Stein was only on the ballot in 20 or so states I believe.
White women voted overwhelmingly for Trump.
He definitely affected the race in a few key states. Clinton probably would have won Pennsylvania without him on the ballot and same with Florida. And there’s talk that Trump might have won Minnesota if Johnson wasn’t on the ballot.
I think polls will be given even less weight after this election. It’s like a critic who gives a terrible review to a movie but it still makes $40 million at the box office that weekend.
Well said.
Hillary had a pretty detailed plan for bringing jobs back to that area but she didn’t articulate it very well to them. She didn’t let them know what that plan was (Just check my website!)
This won’t be the only “promise” he will backtrack on. He won’t give his supporters even half of what he campaigned on because it’s not feasible.
Turnout has been utterly dismal for Democrats and progressives the past few midterms. Republicans will vote anytime anywhere but you have to cajole, plead, beg and drag Dems and progressives to the polls in non-Presidential years. This is why our Congress has been utter garbage for the past 6 years.
What is he going to do the first time a world leader tells him no? He’s going to throw a temper tantrum. Sure the LePens, Putins, Nigel Farages, etc. are thrilled Trump won but what about other world leaders and politicians? They think Trump is a joke.
The only difference I see in 2004 is that not a lot of people thought Kerry was winning (at least I didn’t). The Iraq War was still fairly popular and 9/11 was still fresh in people’s minds. People didn’t want to change course. Also, the Repubs put gay marriage bans on several ballots which brought out the evangelical…
The free press as we know it is gone and done. Trump has already stated that if he wins he’s going to do everything possible to put them out of business. Then again, most of the mainstream media gave him a pass on his BS and liked him because he delivered clicks and ratings. They gave passing mentions to his scandals…
Let me just find a job there and I’m coming over!
He’s up in all those states so - sadly - it probably won’t make a difference.
According to Omarosa, he has been keeping an enemies list and is already deciding who he is going after first. I am not making this up.
