I would have been more surprised if the grand jury voted to indict. Grand juries almost never indict police officers for misconduct or murder and prosecutors rarely push hard…

I absolutely understand but considering this was a cop in Oklahoma with an all-white jury (most of them white males) with 13 black women as victims, it is a relief and praiseworthy that he was convicted of anything at all. That is how low the bar has been set for cops on trial for crimes.
