The Ferguson police are terrible but this is primarily the St. Louis PD that is causing most of these problems this time around. The ST. Louis PD seriously - seriously - needs DOJ intervention.

The police are deliberately causing these tense situations because they want to paint the protestors as out of control lunatics so they can justify force. The protests were peaceful until the police went all Bull Connor on them. They also love using their military weaponry to show who’s boss.

The restraint shown by a lot of people in retail and customer service amazes the hell out of me. If I had to deal with people like that on a daily basis I would probably become a horrible person myself.

The person who invented the term “The Customer is always right” should just be flat-out beaten. If s/he is dead then dig them up and beat them like a pinata. Sorry if that sounds harsh but that term has caused more asshole behavior in customers than anything else in the history of commerce.
