You could not be more of a stereotypical white racist. “Apologist for the Arab slave trade” is a phrase I’ve seen bandied about more than once. Take it from a real historian; all slavery is bad. Despite that, all slavery is not equal.

No I’m not. I’m an actual historian who is aware that the source for that often cited claim by white assholes is a single individual with problematic credentials who used a severely questionable methodology to arrive at his numbers of “European slaves” taken by the Barbary corsairs.
