We already knew she was a terrible girlfriend, because she was insecure, controlling, and hyper-competitive.

It’s a different genre entirely, but if you want more Vella Lovell she has a delightful role as a bored-with-it-all mermaid princess on the new Netflix She-Ra cartoon. It’s a cute show in general, but to hear her skip straight to episode 5 (incidentally also the best episode).

NuGreg feels a bit like a stage actor transitioning to TV (which requires a different acting style). I expect him to loosen-up a bit after he’s got a couple episodes under his belt.

WAIT A SECOND!!!!!!!

Is “Other Rebecca” from the opening credits how Rebecca now looks to Greg???

(Also I really liked her line this time. It fit in really well with the meta vibe of the episode.)

I don’t know enough about Skylar Astin’s work to be sure about this but the entire time I had this feeling that he changed how he naturally talks in order to sound more like Santino Fontana. I agree that he did a great job and that the show succeeded with new Greg. I mean, I can’t think too much about it because I

I liked new Greg. I found Valencia's storyline much more interesting this episode. She is such a mystery.

I ... didn’t mind it, actually.

- Other Rebecca: “I miss the Season One theme song” / Me: “I’m more partial to Season Two’s myself, actually”

It is thoroughly unfair that Rene Gube is both that hot and that good of a writer.

Josh making matzah brei for Rebecca was a nice parallel to her making dinuguan, right? Making an effort by diving into the other’s cultural background, except slightly simpler and less bloody when Josh does it. I can see why the memory might bring up romantic flutters for Rebecca (which would then quickly be followed

On the other hand, I thought the runner of drinks orders from Bart just kept getting funnier. Heather is a really good regional manager.

The show massively expanded its time commitment after Fontana signed on. He lives on the opposite coast and didn’t want to be away from his family for that long, or have to pass up career opportunities.

Heather’s love of drama makes her the most relatable person on this or any show.

This can’t be Vela Lovell’s best hour because she doesn’t dance, but otherwise, yeah. Her “Loving this” reaction to Valencia and Brah’s big dramatic scene made the whole subplot worthwhile.

Re: George - I agree!

Sean Astin is just close enough but that close to Santino Fontana that I was weirded out all episode long. But I think I can used to him.
