Thank you NBC. Bob Varsha wasn't bad, but I think Diffey will be great. THANK YOU David and Steve, they're just wonderful to listen to as the play the "driver vs. car" debate. Classic stuff and I'm very glad it'll continue.

I read the first two books (free on my reader!) and enjoyed them. They're pretty easy reads and Lalonde is imaginative. The writing is fairly simple and straight forward (which I enjoy more, actually). I purchased the third and fourth books and am half way through those. I find myself picking up my Nook more often…
Fun article, however may we please have a "10 of the Most Insane, NON CG ENHANCED, Death-Defying Stunts from Science Fiction Movies" article? Frankly I'm VERY sick of all the computer enhanced "stunts." Perhaps an article explaining why computer enhanced stunts are still sketchy and dangerous? To me it looks like…
I spent years racing and riding road bikes. Got hit head-on ten years ago (major back surgery as a result). I've never been the same. I've not ridden on the road since. Bottom line is, it doesn't matter what side of the argument you're on, cars/SUVs win every time when it's a bicycle vs. car accident. It's simply…
There were essentially three reasons I got Speed: F1, Supercross/Motocross, WRC. Sounds like there's one less reason to watch Speed (although SOME of the WRC events are back after a long break). Versus and other networks seem to be picking up Supercross/Motocross more often. For me Speed has lost its way and is…
Really cool car, but not for that price!
Wow, Porsche clubs not mentioned. It's the only club in which me in my $20k car (and others in their $5k 914s) can rub elbows with Carrera GT, GT2 and GT3 owners. With a huge community and events almost every weekend in every state I find it hard to believe Porsche was left off this list.
Speed is basically THE reason I have cable TV. I don't watch anything else other than a few races here and there (F1, Rally, Moto). If Speed changes to what's mentioned above it looks like I will be able to cancel my cable.
Easy, VW Jetta TDI Sportwagon. Affordable 47mpg fun practicality. If I removed the roof racks I'd feel even more European.
I drive a mountainous two-lane highway to work every day. There are three things I look for in a good driver: (1) driver uses turn indicators, (2) driver does not tail gate, and (3) driver can actually drive around a turn nice and smooth. If we all followed these basic strategies driving to work would be much less…
It's an adventure, comedy, romance. It's also one of THE most quoted movies ever! We owned the VHS tape, then wore it out. Now we own the DVD. VERY much worth a watch. It's one of our "go to" movies. FYI, I don't think RUS's exist.
I was there this past weekend. The racing was great! Only thing I'd change is make the races a little longer (say 20 to 25 laps, they were 14 and 13). I very much enjoyed the format! The close racing was great, and the track is wonderful for spectators (I could see about 80% of the track from my turn 2 vantage…
I have a 2012 TDI wagon and I LOVE it! 46 mpg to work today (40 mile, mountain road commute). I'd get this Audi in a heart beat if it came here.
Missed the mark here. Sure, all of the upgrades are great! But, the BEST thing that can be done for a car is upgrade the idiot driving it. $1k will a day driving instruction at a race track from a professional driver. $1k will buy 33 auto cross sessions WITH an instructor. $1k will buy 3-4 DE (driver education)…
