A shame that they broke up when they did, Anodyne was probably their best work before they imploded. If you look at the debut releases of Son Volt and Wilco, you'd figure that they would of made an amazing record had they stayed together.
no, in fact, I would say that No Depression is probably the worst record in the UT catalog. Its a great album, no doubt, but Still Feel Gone is better, and their last two albums are where the real alternative country legacy is cast in stone.
always love to see UT get some love, but "Whiskey Bottle" or "Life Worth Livin" are the best tracks on "No Depression", so your exclusive does NOTHING for me!
i thought it was a slight as first, but farrar is always linked with anything tupelo, probably since he hasn't been mainstream since Trace came out, so its nice to inform the unknown that tweedy isn't just YFH.
