This is exactly my job and I will say it’s both rewarding and (in my opinion) the pay aligns to the amount of work pretty well. It was my dream job and it took ~10 years after my undergrad of doing other related positions to get it. I love my job 75% of the time and I’d say it’s certainly worth the hard work required

Could Rivian just allow for a single very small dealership in Michigan near their plant and ship cars to customers from there? I realize it’s just another middle man, but seems like a simple solution to meet the word of the law without getting in a tizzy with ridiculous politicians.
