I agree with all of this but I don’t understand why people didn’t like 3D TV. I thought it was awesome. And it was about to get better with UHD round the corner.

I assumed it was because the viewing experience has become so much more comfortable. Going to the cinema when I was a child was a crippling experience but now the seats are super-comfy.
