I don’t know if I would call Jack Nicholson in white paint a good Joker. However, the more and more this DARK GRIT REALISM shit is poured down our throats, I’m starting to appreciate him more.

This is by a large margin, the most entertaining review I've read in a long time. I have not seen the movie, and will likely wait for it to hit the rental scene, but you made me actually kind of want to see it.
Felix, I don't want to get ahead of myself, but this is a pretty sick twisted review pal
I consider my life to consist of two parts: one before I saw Suicide Squad, the other after.
Original Dark Sector basically became Warframe, so at least we got that.
I think the selling point with this one is the gameplay. It’s a Looking Glass style game so the biggest comparison would be System Shock etc. Arkane exclusively make that type of game - Dishonored, Arx Fatalis, Dark Messiah. PC Gamer recently did an amazing article about the genre which they called ‘immersive sims’.
I love this pic! If you ever hear or watch a Keanu interview, he comes across as a guy that likes to work, hang out and ride his bikes. There’s something profoundly peaceful about that.
Actually, more like System Shock to me, but I get your point. It might be good, but it wasn’t the game I was waiting for for certain.
Really bummed they dropped the Native American angle, that was easily the most interesting aspect of Prey.
It’s not that kids need to play in dirt. It’s that for most of human history, kids DID play in dirt. And our immune system was calibrated for that. But now that kids are raised in a 99.99% germ free environment, you get asthma and allergies which are just immune systems that never got calibrated properly.
Kids need to play in dirt. Big surprise... When was this forgotten?
Yeah I’d trade having to use an inhaler for living on an Amish farm any day of the week.
And we needed this study to show what history has shown us repeatedly? The children of the wealthy aristocrats throughout Europe’s history were often sickly while the children of the poor were far healthier despite the poor diets. Why? Exposure to pathogens.
I found the phone on the rug in less than 3 secs. I was looking for the damn cat for 15 minutes till I saw it! Maybe it’s easier with objects you’re familiar with?
This one is better, because when you're done, you're looking at a kitty! 😸
Man, that was a LOT easier than the “find the phone that fell on this rug.” I wouldn’t have found that phone if that commentor didn’t circle it on a picture.
Not surprised. I mean, the point of the scene wasn’t to show Tidus laughing and James Arnold Taylor did a bad job (he’s a quality voice actor), it was meant to be awkward and forced and weird. Mission accomplished.
Makes sense, this is why the 60fps PC FFX patch is taking awhile. The engine is triggered on timings and 60fps kills the timing of things a bit.
Oh jesus. Reading that just now made me flashback to my childhood when I think I arguably was a practicing “jedi”.
There is no Emotion, there is Peace
