My boss picked one of these up last year (01', red, tan leather, 6spd) and it's absolutely gorgeous. Then he told me about a $14k service he had to do in the fall. Ouch. I love this car (and the F355) but I don't know I'd ever own one. Even 993 turbo looks like a bargain by comparison.

Part of me misses my V70R. That 5 cyl turbo is a great sounding motor. My particular car had waaaaay too many electrical gremlins though. And it wasn't that gorgeous blue.

A fair amount of electrical gremlins. Had an extended warranty and used it four times in 3 years. Needed a new radiator, ECM, ECU, and various expensive 4C suspension parts. I was initially looking at B7 S4 Avants but the reliability scared me off. My plan is to wait until 2022 and bring a proper B7 RS4 Avant over from yurp for my fun car and DD something more economical/reliable.

I'm a big fan of the change. Never did like the split lamp design. Just bought an 09 A4 Avant (after coming from an 04 V70R) but that new V60 does look goooood.

Don't think they've been mentioned yet, but I've always LOVED the AC Schnitzer Type III. A more aggressive take on the classic (and fantastic) M parallels. Schnitzer centercaps are mandatory.
