I have a very simple solution for desk hovering. I simply look at them, give them a cheeky smile and say "Please go away now". Generally speaking they will laugh and go back to their desks.

Yeah, definitely watch it once, although it's unlikely you'll be able to stomach the first episode more than once.

The banning system was removed on Gizmodo UK and that actually worked out quite well. We have a great little commenting community on there these days.

Hmm... I like Karl Urban and Lena Heady as actors but I'm not convinced they are well cast for these roles. I think the one thing about the original that was good is that they got the casting bang on.

I agree completely. Whenever I watch that episode the "We will return... YOUR SOUL" line followed by his screams gives me chills every time.

I've been practising the 'inbox zero' ([inboxzero.com]) method for years and it's great. My Inbox is essentially a to-do list these days.

I've found in the past that a sure-fire way to ensure I'll never, ever forget something is to ask someone else to remind me of it.

If if you have a wide enough jar and a handheld blender, just use that.
