Well I'm sure this shows my ignorance but isn't geothermal energy utilising volcanic heat in a much less interesting way. I agree though it would be amazing if we could harness the kinetic energy as well.

I'm not sure how I feel about Elmo saying 'Yeah Baby', has he always said that? I don't recall him doing that when I was a child.

Great! Now I need to watch BSG again! (Not that I needed an excuse)

Could you link to it here if you find one please, that looks amazing!

Hmm? I'm sorry I wasn't listening.

You now owe me a new keyboard as this one is covered in coffee because of you!

I got a new Sony Bravia smart-tv the other day and I was quite impressed by the apps that come with it, the only noticable thing missing (for me at least) were TED talks and I guess that is a bit niche anyway. It would be nice if I could have added my own apps.

I have a 7 calendar system which has worked for me for many years.

Not only was that video brilliant it also informed me that Brian Cox is on TED! Thanks for that. Heading there now! :)

Once again my Buffy/Angel trivia finds an outlet (it saddens me how little I get to tout it in the real world)

Shhh!! You'll Jinx it!

We're gonna wage a war, on Earth!

OMG! That's the answer!

That would be Amy :)

Sorry in advance for this terrible comment...

Holy freaking god... time for a new graphics card I think!

The combination of two things have helped me lose 16lb (and counting), myFitnessPal (app and website) and my Kinect (specifically EA Sports Active 2). I have a lot to thank the developers of those things for.

I work in an open office a the moment and I miss my old office where we had dividers. It's great to share creative ideas and help each other solve development projects but at the end of the day, we all have messenger/email and if we had a problem that needed solving we'd still ask the person we needed to speak to.

"I'm not suggesting that acquired magic has vanished entirely from popular culture. Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer certainly learns magic rather than discovering her true witchy nature"

Agreed, I remember smiling when heard about the death of my Grandad and I loved him dearly. I wasn't happy, it just happened.
